In our pursuit of our goal to visit all 50 states, we thought going to St. Louis in the winter would be a good idea.
Suffice it to say, it wasn’t busy. 😉
When we got to the B&B, we ran into a couple of travelers while we were looking at a map where everyone came from. The next twenty minutes were spent learning about each other, talking about travel, and finding out how to navigate the city (they were ending their trip as we were starting ours).
We got to experience local delicacies, such as gooey butter cake, and also stand at the bottom of the archway since it was closed at the time we were visiting…maybe next time we’ll go when it’s summer. 😉
