I think everyone can pretty much agree that life moves crazy fast. That the moments we treasure are here one moment and memory the next. Preserving those moments is one of the reasons I love photographs so much; they allow us to revisit those times we’re not quite ready to let go of. Lindsey’s senior year of high school is definitely one of those for me. With her heading of to Argentina this summer, my parents’ house will definitely feel quite different in the near future. With all that in mind, it was so nice to be able to be around to document her senior prom and how incredible she looked.
Naturally I was sure to create some awesome photos of Lindsey and her date, but I was looking around for a few other shot ideas to finish up the roll of film I was working on. I was nearing the end and began to think about the things that really matter and realized we hadn’t done any photos of my parents and Lindsey yet. I had 3 shots left, just the right amount for a photo of each of my parents individually with Lindsey as well as one shot with the three of them together.
I know for a fact those are the photos that are going to mean the most in the end.
