Some visions feel timeless, while others push the boundaries of creativity—this editorial was both. The goal was to take the romantic charm of cottagecore and infuse it with a sense of luxury, creating something truly unique. With a dream team of some of the best vendors from Ohio and beyond, we set out to craft a wedding aesthetic that felt both fresh and unforgettable.
Alexa Kate brought the vision to life, reimagining the classic green-and-white wedding palette with a new level of depth and sophistication. Every detail was intentional, from the lush floral arrangements by Ingeborg Flora Co, to the curated design elements that gave the space an air of effortless elegance. The result was a setting that felt organic yet refined, a perfect blend of whimsy and grandeur.
Ellen DiSorbo, as always, was a joy to work alongside, weaving together cinematic moments that elevated the entire experience. There’s something special about working alongside vendors who truly understand the power of collaboration—it transforms an editorial into something that feels immersive and impactful.
This was a space unlike any I typically create in, but that challenge made it all the more exciting. Pushing the boundaries of what’s expected led to something that hadn’t been done before, and that sense of newness made every frame, every image, all the more rewarding.
This editorial wasn’t just about inspiration—it was about redefining what a garden wedding could be.
