Sara and Miguel’s wedding at The Chagrin Valley Hunt Club was an intimate, emotional celebration of love and family. As a second wedding for both, they chose to keep the day small and meaningful, surrounded by about 100 of their closest friends and family. The atmosphere was beautifully moody, drawing inspiration from dramatic baroque elegance that perfectly complemented the historic charm of the venue.
The design by Willow and Sage throughout the entire wedding included florals that were absolutely breathtaking. They embraced a sense of drama and depth through rich, lush blooms with a touch of melancholy. Their cooler shades of blue, deep reds, berry tones, and even touches of black create a striking, sophisticated allure. Like a beautifully told Greek tragedy, they evoke emotion and intrigue. By reimagining classic floral elements with a darker palette, Willow and Sage created a bold, unforgettable statement.
The ceremony was unforgettable. Sara and Miguel exchanged vows by the fireplace, enveloped in the warm glow of candlelight and surrounded by cascading florals. The rich, deep hues of the flowers added a striking contrast to the soft, flickering light, creating a scene that felt both romantic and timeless. It was a moment filled with emotion and beauty, reflecting the deep bond they share.
Sara looked breathtaking as she walked down the aisle, her stunning Jimmy Choo heels peeking out beneath her elegant custom gown: the top half was vintage Valentino, while the bottom was custom-made, creating an elegant and breathtaking statement. There was a quiet sophistication to her style, balancing classic bridal elegance with just the right touch of drama. Miguel’s face lit up as he watched her approach, and the love between them was palpable.
At the reception, the baroque-inspired theme continued with exquisite tablescapes adorned with moody candlelight and lush florals. The intimate setting fostered heartfelt conversations and joyful laughter, bringing their loved ones closer together. It was clear that the day was about more than just the beautiful décor; it was about celebrating the journey that brought Sara and Miguel together.
Capturing Sara and Miguel’s wedding was an honor. Their story is one of love, resilience, and family, and their celebration reflected that beautifully. Congratulations, Sara and Miguel! I wish you a lifetime of happiness and love.
