I’ve been looking forward to sharing this editorial for a while—and it’s easy to see why. Styled by East Made Co. and set against the backdrop of The Estate at Cherokee Dock, this was a vision rooted in romance, texture, and the soft beauty of light.
Inspired by the work of Claude Monet, the goal was to echo the emotional language of his paintings—specifically the quiet depth and softness found in his brushstrokes. The palette was delicate, the florals abundant, and every detail thoughtfully curated to feel both painterly and refined.
Elizabeth and her team brought this vision to life with an incredible attention to detail. From couture gowns for both bride and bridesmaid, to hand-painted confections and an invitation suite that felt like a work of art on its own—nothing was overlooked.
One of my favorite moments from the day was crafting a frame directly inspired by Monet’s Water Lilies—a quiet homage to the softness and stillness in his work, translated through lens and light. You’ll find that image near the end of this entry, and I’d love to know what it stirs in you.
Grateful to have worked alongside such a talented team, and to have created something that felt as timeless as it was original.
