A Project Rooted in Intentional Design and Creative Collaboration
Every now and then, a project comes together in a way that feels truly special—where every element aligns seamlessly, and the creative energy is palpable. Photographing this editorial in Michigan was one of those experiences. It was an absolute joy to photograph, bringing together an extraordinary team of talented wedding professionals whose artistry and vision made this day unforgettable.
One of the highlights was working alongside Abby McKinney, a Chicago-based wedding planner who blends impeccable taste with flawless execution. Her attention to detail and ability to craft a cohesive wedding day never fails to impress. From start to finish, every choice felt intentional, ensuring a cohesive and inspiring aesthetic.
The flowers by Kathryn Stice were nothing short of mesmerizing. She tells a story with every arrangement, balancing delicate blooms with bold colors and textures. I watched as each design unfolded, and the flowers transformed the space, setting the perfect tone for a celebration.
The setting itself played a key role in the magic of the day. The old-world charm of the church set a timeless foundation, while the beautifully designed reception area projected both elegance and warmth.
What makes a wedding day—or an editorial like this—truly exceptional is the team behind it. There are so many moving pieces, so many roles working in harmony to create something meaningful for our couples. I am endlessly grateful to collaborate with creatives who share my commitment to service, artistry, and intentionality.
Leaving this editorial, I felt a profound sense of gratitude—not only for the opportunity to create but for the partnerships that have remained long after the day was done. Scroll to see the beauty we created.
