An early morning venture was what awaited us on a damp Saturday.  The soft light was just what we were looking for–refreshing, yet full of life and promise.  What better fit for senior portraits?

Lindsey was looking incredible in a floor-length dress made for summer.  If there wasn’t enough sunshine already, Lindsey brought it with her light and airy look and excited facial expression when cute dogs walked by.

The city was still mostly calm at this point of the day, but we were able to see a lot of people out enjoying the weather (and a LOT of francophones touring the park.  We may have eavesdropped a bit).  

Since it was our first day in the city, the slow start was helpful for everyone.  We got to take it all in and watch the day unfold while still participating in it.  It’s a difficult thing to explain 😉

Looking back over these photos, I can’t help but feel refreshed and excited!
