Ashland, Ohio
As a photographer, I have the privilege of telling many beautiful stories. I get to hand people memories of their wedding day, of their families. Today I was tasked with telling an equally beautiful story but a much harder one. A pillar of the Ashland community, a professor, a friend passed away. I was asked to photograph not a funeral, but a graduation. As you’ll see from the pictures, there wasn’t an empty seat in the house. Hundreds showed up to honor the life of Dr. Rinehart. We offer our sincere condolences to Jan and the rest of the family. Dr. Rinehart will forever be an inspiration to those that knew him and he will continue to affect those who never had that privilege. Despite the fact that I may or may not haven fallen asleep in his class, he still loved me. He invited me for pie with his wife, checked in on me and my fiancee and told me about his crazy college experiences. All in all, he was a great man who lived a great life, constantly carrying joy in his soul.
Rejoice in the Lord, Dr. Rinehart.
