Charleston, SC

Charleston is one of those places we’d heard lovely things about, but had never visited.  Luckily, it was only about an hour from where we were vacationing with family, so we made the trip up to see it for ourselves. 

While not every corner of the South contains southern charm, Charleston is overflowing with it.  The pastel buildings, the historical set up and the slower pace add up to us northerners being enamoured. We also liked how it was fashionable in a very southern manner.  Derby attire draped itself on the shoulders of Charleston businessmen and women, and everyone carried themselves in a confident way. 

Matt particularly enjoyed the fact the city existed both in the past and present.  There was a charming blend of historic and modern architecture; for every rooftop restaurant there was a quaint, old residence.   

It only felt right to shoot film in this timeless place and to capture some of our experiences there!
