I can’t think of a higher compliment than when fellow creatives trust me to understand their vision. This was the case for a wedding I worked on with Carrie of Stem Floral. During a wedding day, a photographer typically needs to focus on many aspects, capturing a variety of stories. It can be challenging to honor all these different narratives fully.

The best photographers can juggle these demands, but it’s difficult to devote complete attention to any single story. I’ve had the privilege of collaborating with several vendors who specifically wanted me to document their role in the wedding day. Carrie was so enthusiastic about this wedding and the couple’s vision that she wanted to have her work documented with extra intention.

After discussing the details with the couple and their hired photographer to ensure everyone was comfortable with the arrangement, we were ready to move forward. It was inspiring to see Carrie in her creative element while creating these images for her!
