Cleveland, Ohio
The Ariel Pearl Center is a stunning, historic wedding venue located in Cleveland, Ohio. It’s marble columns and floors, expansive crystal chandeliers and massive arched windows make for a truly magnificent space. Perhaps my favorite part of Ariel Pearl though is it’s ability to take people back in time. It’s a space that feels simultaneously timeless and relevant, which beautifully mirrors the heart behind our wedding photography. I recently had the opportunity to visit the Ariel Pearl Center and chat with their wonderful Event Manager, Michelle.
Despite the size of the building, the venue is actually only a single floor. It consists of the main hall and two adjoining rooms, one in the front and one in the rear. These spaces are frequently used as a bridal getting ready suite and cocktail hour area respectively. That being said, there is room to seat up to 200 guests comfortably, with space for a lively dance floor in the center.
Michelle and I talked a lot about this history of the building as she led me around and pointed out some of the common photo locations. I was in love with the space and trying to take in all the different details and hadn’t fully realized that we had come to the end of the tour. We were standing in the area commonly used for the cocktail hour when Michelle turned to me, smiling and said, “Well, that’s pretty much it.”
While it’s true that three rooms might not sound like an expansive place, one of the factors that makes the Ariel Pearl Center so unique is it’s flexibility. There are truly no “standard set ups” or required layouts. Also because the space is a non-cooking venue you have options in regards to who you would like to cater your wedding day. All of this allows couples the opportunity to really personalize how they want to celebrate.
Often times couples who are drawn to the Ariel Pearl Center are seeking a venue that feels romantic and elegant in a way our time often does not. Michelle shared that when future brides enter the venue she can tell almost immediately if the space is right for them. She said that she has had multiple brides mention while visiting that the venue feels like being in a fairytale. The place is so magical the walls will even sparkle if the sun hits them just right.
The Ariel Pearl Center is a gorgeous place to host your wedding ceremony, reception, or both! We’d absolutely love to shoot more events here in the future and be a part of even more fairytales.
