One of the Matt and Amanda duo is incredibly goofy, and the other loves when the former acts ridiculous (most of the time). So you can imagine our delight when we got to photograph a playful, lighthearted couple on a breezy Chicago morning.

Sydney and Tyler are the type of couple that bring life to wherever they are. The number of jokes, funny faces, and conversations had with strangers about their dogs (Thor and Pepper) let you know that Sydney and Tyler are 1. Not afraid to have a good time, even when it may be something that can feel awkward like having someone take lots of pictures of you and 2. 100% down to involve you in their goofiness. They bring the party, but you’re also invited to the club. In this way, they’re one of a kind.

We started the morning at the Bean in millennium Park, a nod to the fact Sydney and Tyler are living in Chicago after growing up in Ohio. We loved taking in the skyline at Olive Park and hearing about Sydney and Tyler’s favorite views. Have you ever found something where the view never fails to induce wonder? Then you know what it’s like for Sydney and Tyler when they see the Hancock—the reminder that they’re really in Chicago 😉
