Bright & Joyful Cleveland Wedding at Music Box Supper Club // Sarah & Mike
Weddings are about people coming together and celebrating the new commitment of love. You don’t have to tell that to a couple that met as guests at a wedding reception of mutual friends, though ;)
Sarah and Mike enjoyed a clear, hot day for their devout ceremony and lively celebration. Family and friends played a strong role in developing Sarah and Mike as people so naturally their wedding day was much the same. Their core of the day and bridal party was a perfect blend of family and friends, though there was no shortage of neighbors and church friends as well. We loved witnessing the laughter between Sarah, Mike and their loved ones through inside jokes, reminiscing and looking forward to the future together!
Something we loved about Sarah & Mike’s day was their attention to detail. Sarah is the type that you could ask to decorate your house (with a lot of plants ;-) ) because her taste is classic yet balanced. In the whirl of wedding planning it can be easy to get swept away with beautiful trends that are so a la mode that you can’t help but want to do them. The risk of course is that if you go full trendy, you have to be prepared to defend your “tacky” choices to your children in the future (our parents all got married around 1985...any trend guesses there? ;) ). It’s a tough balance, but Sarah met trendy with timeless.
The ladies’ button down shirts at the beginning of the day we’re perfectly practical and aesthetically pleasing, with personalization for each bridesmaid. The flowers were bright and lively, balancing out the neutral of the girls’ dresses. Donuts at the reception were from a classic Cleveland donut joint but were displayed beautifully in the natural light of the Music Box Supper Club. The venue itself is a marriage of trendy and classic! It felt like no detail was overlooked or done with half effort. Sarah and Mike truly put the effort in to make their day special on another level!
Congratulations to Sarah and Mike, our favorite half Roman, half Byzantine couple ;-)
