When you’re planning your wedding day, there are so many opportunities to make the day go how you want. From the meaningful quality and beauty of details to the timeline, planning covers just about everything.
Our favorite moments on wedding days usually happen during the parts of the day that can’t be planned for. Within the plan, we always account for a bit of wiggle room. Some of that is strictly practical, like if something (or, occasionally, someone) is running behind, but much of that wiggle room is created for the deep, emotional moments. We always carve out time to really allow people to have the space needed to feel these things. These moments and emotions happen spontaneously and they’re what truly makes each wedding remarkable and unique. Kelsey & Zack’s wedding was filled with moments like these and we’re so in love with their images because of it.
Kelsey & Zack were enjoying a smooth morning, then we came to first looks. Kelsey surprised her dad with an embroidered handkerchief, and he cherished it, saying, “Well, I’ll definitely be using this today.” Kelsey and her dad dried their eyes, then it was time for Kelsey’s first look with her groom. Zack, who had done his fair share of waiting, was ready to see her!
Zack & Kelsey’s first look at Greystone Hall was a moment to remember. There were many happy tears as they took in their future. Kelsey & Zack also chose this moment to share their handwritten vows in the privacy of the bridal suite. They talked about the hardships they’ve seen and how they would go through them all again in a heartbeat as long as they went through them together.
Kelsey & Zack’s vows were a perfect foundation for the rest of the day. We loved relishing in their sentimentality, and their guests were able to take in the depth of their relationship. Congratulations Zack & Kelsey!
