Sara & Matt are the type of couple that make you happy to be around. They’re so loving with each other, and their friends but are ultimately just fun people—that’s why they tend to pop up at many weddings we shoot 😉

We were looking forward to Sara & Matt’s Thorncreek Winery engagement session as the clouds rolled in on a chilly fall day. Sara & Matt used the cold to their advantage by snuggling, which is one of our favorite ways to combat the cold!

Their corgi, Alfred, joined us for a spell as well. We’d never met a corgi in real life (we’ve just seen them in memes…), so we were extra delighted to discover how Alfie herded everyone every time we changed locations. Alfie bounded from place to place, bringing smiles from all around. As Matt put it, Alfred is a bunny of a dog.

We ended the evening among some perfect fall foliage followed by a glass of wine and a long chat.
