If we were to cry during an engagement session, this would be it.
We met up with Melissa & Michael for lunch, catching up and getting excited for their fall afternoon shoot. We were at the fanciest place in Canal Fulton that’s open on Sundays (which is to say, we were at a diner), and we had a great time talking about their lives.
After lunch, we went to start photos, and Melissa & Michael were complete naturals. These two are naturally affectionate people and aren’t afraid to show they care for each other. Because of that wonderful affection with each other, we got to try some poses we don’t do with everyone!
Matt gave the suggestion that Michael whisper to Melissa all the things he loves about her. While we couldn’t hear what he was saying, we were moved by the change of expression on Melissa’s face and the momentary pause when Michael had to catch his breath from tearing up. Amanda joined him in on those tears, for sure!
As we were wrapping up photos, a Peace, Love & Little Donuts truck pulled up and offered their end of day extras to those of us at the park. It was a sweet way to end the session!
Thank you for capturing their spirit so perfectly!
Melissa is one of my sorority sisters and best friends, and they did an amazing job choosing you for their photos! These are all amazing!
Thank you for truly capturing my best friend and her person. These are completely perfect!
