Wooster, OH
Ashley and Jamie were wanderers, destined to return to each other. Their love is passionate, organic and natural in every way. Jamie calms her nomadic soul, he speaks life into her. Ashley pushes him past his comfort zone, she breathes adventure into him. It’s a dynamic balance and we are so honored to be a part of their story.
With that in mind, we knew were in for quite a day. Ashley and her gorgeous (and numerous) bridesmaids quite literally filled the conference room while getting ready at the St. Paul Hotel. Mornings like this hold a special kind of energy, we had so much fun with these women, laughing and jamming (Amanda feeling a special connection to the copious amounts of Beyonce). Seeing the emotion on Ashley’s mom’s face and her sister’s face were the highlight of the morning. Ashley lit up downtown Wooster.
The groom and his guys were a bit of an opposite story. While no less numerous, they were quite significantly more relaxed. 😉 That being said, we still had quite the adventure getting all the boutonnieres pinned just right. I even had to step in and help Jamie with his (though I did end up stabbing him once or twice). We made sure to carve out some space for Jamie and his best man, his brother JD, to spend time together, reminisce, and relax before heading off to wait for the last bit of time before he would see his bride.
On the list of emotional moments, what happened next is definitely high on the list! When Ashley saw her Papa for the first time, magic happened. It was so beautiful to be part of that moment.
I could go on and on about Ashley and Jamie’s day, but it should suffice to say that these two beautiful souls were united in a unique ceremony on a hilltop, surrounded by people who are so proud of them. We went on to celebrate long into the evening, but not before taking some of my favorite photos to date. From the bottom of my heart, thank you Ashley, Jamie, and everyone else involved in this magical day.
As always we want to extend a special thank you to all the amazing vendors who contributed in making this day as wonderful as possible.
