On one of the first snowy days of the season, Josie & Eric had a classic, romantic Cleveland wedding. The day started slow and relaxed, with a healthy mix of calm and anticipation leading up to the ceremony.
When Josie & Eric’s families arrived, the next wave of love came through. Bundled in coats and scarves, they were all smiles walking into the library to greet Josie & Eric. With all the love in the room, it almost felt like going home for the holidays—everyone was happy to see each other!
The church was ready for the ceremony with cozy lighting and wooden accents, history seeping throughout the building on the day that Josie & Eric were to make personal history in the next chapter of their lives together. While this may be their second marriage, the weight of the decision was not lost on them. The pastor helped lighten the mood by accidentally asking Josie if she took Eric to be her wife…twice. 😉
At the reception, the first dance began as usual but then shifted into a first family dance, with Josie’s daughter and Eric’s sons joining in. There may have been a few tears behind one of our lenses!
To see two families become one never gets old for us; we loved celebrating with Josie & Eric!
