On the way to Columbus to create images for Christi & Rodney, the rain kept spattering.  We weren’t sure if the pictures were going to be in torrential downpour, but we knew we were going to love spending time with the two of them in any case!  Christi & Rodney have been dating for six years, but they estimated they only have about 20 photos together (one of them doesn’t like photos…see if you can guess who it is!).  We were excited to change that for them and give them captures of this time in their lives!

We started the evening at a cafe where Christi & Rodney have become regulars.  They’ve gone to one of the waitress’ weddings, check themselves out at the register when they’re done, and Rodney has a breakfast sandwich named after him here.  The owner gave them a key so they could have their pictures in this cherished place.

After a bit of cafe relaxing, we went out to Autobahn Park to take in the sunset.  We talked about the city and how even though neither Christi nor Rodney is originally from Ohio, they’ve built a community they love in its capital and hope to stay in Columbus after they finish their degrees!
