Engagement session are great for a number of reasons.   They allow us to document this exciting time of your life, create beautiful images of you and the person you love, and continue to form the foundation for the relationship that we will carry into your wedding day.  

Jamie and Alex’s engagement session was a perfect example of why engagement sessions are so valuable.  Not only did we get to explore a place that matters to them and they have a special personal history with (they got engaged at Cuyahoga Valley National Park), but we got to hear all about their lives.  

One of the highlights of the evening was hearing about all the shenanigans Alex has experienced with photoshoots in the past.  His chosen profession has led him to some interesting scenarios!  While planning shoots in the past, he’s been Chemist #3 and even played the fill in farmer by providing a flannel shirt and hat out of his trunk.  

We got to hear all these fun stories and create a few more as we explored CVNP and the Ledges.  Jamie and Alex danced on uneven terrain and with Jamie in high heels, but they looked so good the entire time.  

As if the evening couldn’t be more serendipitous, we wrapped up our shoot before the sky opened up with rain.  It was the perfect closing to a lovely evening.
